We offer our clients Silica Sand which are processed using the best grade silica & other light material and advanced formulation techniques in compliance with the set industry standards.

Garnets are a group of silicate minerals that have been used since the Bronze Age as gemstones and abrasives. All species of garnets possess similar physical properties and crystal forms, but differ in chemical composition. The different species are pyrope, almandine, spessartine, grossular, uvarovite and andradite.

Applications:

  • The main application of Garnets is in water jet cutting of materials like steel and stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, granite and marble, but also rubber and glass.
  • Fine garnet dust is used in the detailed finishing and polishing of optical lens, plate glass, and semiconductor materials.
  • Because garnet is chemically stable, it is also used as a filtering medium for water purification systems or wastewater treatment plants

First-aid Measures

  • Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If experiencing respiratory symptoms (e.g. coughing, shortness of breath, wheezing), call a Poison Center or doctor.

  • Eye Contact: Immediately rinse the contaminated eye(s) with lukewarm, gently flowing water for 15-20 minutes, while holding the eyelid(s) open. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice/attention.
